Neilson Continues to Chip Up

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov opened to 20,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Neilson, who began the day fourth in chips, produced a three-bet to 60,000 from the button.

Action folded to Rony Halimi in the small blind, who looked like he had a decision to make and took some time before disposing of his hand. Petleshkov also quickly folded, handing Neilson the pot unopposed. Neilson is now over the one million mark.

Looslli Doubles Off Moll

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Alessandro Pichierri, a plush toy of the monkey Apu from Aladdin resting on his shoulder, raised to 20,000 in the cutoff before Silius Moll moved all in for 320,000 in the small blind. Sylvain Loosli called for his last 81,000 and Pichierri folded.

Sylvain Loosli: 1010
Silius Moll: K10

Moll was looking for a king to score the knockout but none arrived on the 636J9 board as Loosli doubled up and avoided the fate of so many others so far today.

Vogelsang Eliminates Kammer

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Benjamin Kammer was a forced all-in in the big blind for 10,000 exactly.

Action folded round to Jesse Lonis on the button, who limped. Tom Vogelsang was in the small blind and moved all in for around 140,000, and Lonis folded.

Benjamin Kammer: 65
Tom Vogelsang: K10

Vogelsang was ahead and remained so after the A103 flop gave him a pair of tens, the 2 turn and A river confirming Kammer's exit.

This could be a very interesting table to observe through the day, with Vogelsang and Lonis being joined by Irish duo Mark Buckley and David Lappin.

To add an extra layer of tension, Lappin and Vogelsang had a bit of a verbal kerfuffle on the bubble in Day 1a, and fate has placed them at the same table today, so there may be some added spice to some hands.

Lopes Galindo Runs Into a Bigger Pair

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sergii Baranov raised to 23,000 under the gun, then called when Humberto Lopes Galindo moved all in for 130,000 in early position.

Humberto Lopes Galindo: 1010
Sergii Baranov: JJ

Lopes Galindo was dominated by Baranov's pocket jacks and couldn't catch up on the 54397 board on his way to the rail.

Siljander Spikes the Turn For a Double Knockout

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jiaze Li moved all in for 54,000 under the gun, Andras Balogh reshoved for 102,000 in the cutoff, and Mathias Siljander called in the small blind to put both opponents at risk.

Jiaze Li: 109
Andras Balogh: AK
Mathias Siljander: 77

Li took the lead on the 933 flop with two pair, but Siljander hit the 7 on the turn to make a full house. The river was the A and Li and Balogh joined the long line to the exit.

"Seven from heaven," tablemate Jakub Michalak said.

Ogita Busts Da Cunha

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daisuke Ogita
Daisuke Ogita

Action folded to Daisuke Ogita in the small blind, who completed.

Ludovic Da Cunha in the big blind immediately moved all in for around 65000. Ogita made the quick call, with Da Cunha at risk.

Ludovic Da Cunha: Q6
Daisuke Ogita: AA

Da Cunha had been unfortunate to walk straight into Ogita's aces, and although he flopped a pair on the 6J3 flop to give Ogita a bit of a sweat, the 5 turn and 7 river were bricks to hand Ogita the pot.

Two Players All In, No One Busts

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Vladas Tamasauskas moved all in for 31,000 under the gun and Liviu Bartha reshoved for 40,000 next to act. While Julien Sitbon was tanking from the button, tablemate Ehsan Amiri gave Tamasauskas the genie's bottle he uses as a card protector. "This is your James Bond moment," Amiri said as he filmed Tamasauskas rubbing it for good luck. Sitbon eventually reshoved and the blinds folded.

Vladas Tamasauskas: K9
Liviu Bartha: AQ
Julien Sitbon: A7

Tamasauskas made a pair on the 9105 flop and stayed in the lead through the 5 turn and 8 river to triple up. Bartha took the side pot off Sitbon, leaving both of them short stacked.
