Action folded around to Samuel Fournier who opened the button to 16,000. Julien Sitbon completed in the big blind.
Sitbon checked the the monotone K♦8♦10♦ flop to Fournier, who bet 10,000. Sitbon made the call. The J♠ turn was checked around before Sitbon led the 10♠ river for 12,000. Fournier took a moment before putting in the raise to 42,000. Sitbon made the call and Fournier tabled K♣5♣ for two pair and Sitbon mucked.
Gediminas Uselis opened to 16,000 from early position. Action folded around to [Removed:548] who defended the big blind.
The 8♦7♣4♥ flop was checked around before [Removed:549] elected to lead on the 9♦ turn card for 15,000. Uselis made the call. [Removed:549] then checked the A♠ river to Uselis who fired a bet of 55,000. [Removed:549] quickly called and tabled A♦5♦ for top pair. Uselis showed K♦Q♦ briefly before mucking his hand.
Action folded around to Scott Margereson in the small blind who moved all in for 65,000. Pierre May called quickly from the big blind in an attempt to claim the bounty of Margereson.

The 2♠K♥6♠ presented a flush draw for May. He didn't hit on the turn but the 9♦ gave him a pair, which was out-kicked by Margereson's A♦. However, May spiked the 8♣ river to make two pair and to send Margereson to the rail.
Nearly 11 months ago, the poker players agreed to a 14-month wager on Deeb's ability to bring his body fat composition down significantly. The bet had essentially no stipulations — either get to 17% body fat by the start of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), or lose $100,000.
Last month, Deeb gave his X followers an update on his progress, and it was certainly positive in his favor. A January 25 Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan showed his body fat had dropped to 23.9% with still four months to go. That caused Perkins to begin proposing potential buyout possibilities on X, although nothing had been officially agreed upon.
On Friday, he went in for another DEXA scan, and he was in even better shape — 22.0% body fat composition. Then, on Saturday, the future Poker Hall of Famer informed his social media followers that Perkins had bought out of the bet for $800,000 just over three months from the start of the 2024 WSOP.

The board ran out Q♦7♥A♥5♦9♥. Petcu stayed ahead with his pocket sixes until the river brought Faravash a pair of nines. He won the pot and chipped up to around 1,000,000. Petcu was eliminated from the tournament.
Bekim Murtezi moved all in from early position for 92,000 and Joonhee Yea moved his 37,000 stack into the middle.
Action folded to Sebastian Guinand in the small blind who pondered the spot for a while, before eventually having the clock called on him and folding.
Martin Stausholm then called from the big blind, with the other players at risk.

Yea was currently ahead and remained so after the A♦4♦9♦ flop, him also being the only player holding a diamond.
The K♣ turn was a relative brick and the 6♥ river improved Yea to a set and he raked in the pot. Murtezi took the 110,000 side pot with his queen-jack high.
