Mavritsakis Welcomes a Table Change
Panagiotis Mavritsakis opened to 45,000 from early position and saw Terry Vlastos and Alessandro Minasi call from the blinds. Mavritsakis continued for 50,000 on the K♥4♦3♥ flop and only Minasi called. The 5♦ turn checked through to the 9♦ river, and Minasi led out for 90,000. Mavritsakis peaked at his cards and announced a raise to 380,000.
"Call," said Minasi before Mavritsakis had finished putting his chips into the middle. Mavritsakis took one last look at his cards and mucked, allowing Minasi to take the pot without showing his hole cards.
The following hand, Mavritsakis opened to 45,000 and called Lorenzo Arduini's cutoff raise to 135,000.
The A♦10♠9♦ flop checked through to the 9♠ turn and Mavritsakis check-called a bet of 320,000.
After using a time bank, Mavritsakis checked on the 5♦ river. Arduini used a time bank of his own before firing out 1,000,000. Mavritsakis immediately threw all six of his time banks into the middle but folded after using up two of them.
After the hand played out, Mavritsakis was instructed to move table.
