Barer Calls Down Jorgne, Takes Another From Hansen
Level 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ami Barer raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and Peter Jorgne defended his big blind.
Both players checked the 7♠10♦2♠ flop and Jorgne led out for 375,000 on the 3♦ turn. Barer called and the A♠ fell on the river.
Jorgne then bet 400,000. Barer took off the sweater he keeps wrapped around his neck and leaned over the table for a few moments before calling. Jorgne showed 8♠8♦, but Barer had Q♥10♠ for a pair of tens to win the pot.
A few hands later, action folded to Sindre Hansen who raised to 350,000 in the small blind. Barer called and they went heads-up to the K♦6♠10♥ flop.
Hansen bet 200,000 and Barer called. The 10♣ turn was checked through to the 9♥ river where Hansen checked again. Barer then bet 525,000 and Hansen folded.
