Redjdal Flops a Full House and Doubles

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A large pot was brewing over on Table 46 as around 49,000 was in the middle to the KK578 river. Alexis Andre had checked out of the big blind and Romeric Redjdal then moved all in and Andre called after a few seconds of consideration.

Redjdal tabled his K5 for a flopped full house and Andre briefly exposed his AA for aces and kings. Both stacks were counted and Redjdal doubled for 26,400, leaving his opponent with one big blind only. Soon after, the seat of Andre was empty.

Ioannis Oikonomidis raised to 1,200 and Nazar Buhaiov then three-bet to 3,600 from one seat over in the hijack. Erkan Soenmez called on the button only for Oikonomidis to make it 10,600 to go. Buhaiov then pushed all in to force out Soenmez, while Oikonomidis called for around 39,000.

Ioannis Oikonomidis: QQ
Nazar Buhaiov: KK

Buhaiov had the best of it and improved to a set on the K102 flop. The A turn gave Oikonomidis a life line with a gutshot but the 4 river was a blank.

Timo Kamphues
Timo Kamphues

Timo Kamphues and Laszlo Molnar were battling over a 34,500-chip pot when they both checked on the 99410 turn. Kamphues then checked again on the J river, after which Molnar decided to go for it all.

He put his stack of 24,100 chips in the middle and Kamphues asked for a count. Shortly after he heard the correct number, he stuck in a call.

Molnar showed A7 for the nut flush, beating the J10 of Kamphues, who played two pair. He was left with just three big blinds, which he would lose as well shortly after the hand.
