Goel Hits Runner-Runner Quads

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a pot of 10,500 chips, the action checked to Teun Mulder on the button on a flop of 9J3. He made a bet of 2,700, which Marton Czuczor called in the big blind. Apoorva Goel then jammed all in for 27,000 from middle position and only Mulder made the call.

Apoorva Goel: 1010
Teun Mulder: KJ

Mulder had a big lead, but the 10 turn saw one of Goel's two outs hit to reverse the roles. His other out came on the 10 river, doubling him up in style.

Selides Won't Show Ahmadian

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mathieu Selides opened to 2,200 from early position and Majid Ahmadian called on his direct left.

Selides fired out another 2,200 on the KJ5 flop and Ahmadian responded with a raise to 8,000. Selides then jammed for 51,200, and Ahmadian let go of his hand after some time in the tank.

Sleides mucked his cards, and Ahmadian appeared upset that his opponent didn't show, being that he had shown his cards earlier on. Selides also brought up the fact that he had shown a hand or two.

"I did not have it, but I was very happy with my hand," said Selides. That wasn't good enough for Ahmadian as the conversation continued for a few moments longer.

Duta and Dietrich chopped the pot as they both had two pair with an ace kicker after tabling their AK and AJ.

Kolev Beats Same Hand to Increase Large Stack

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Shakhabiddin Muradov raised to 2,000 under the gun before Boris Kolev three-bet to 6,000 from middle position. Rafael Navas Robles then called cold from the cutoff and Imad Derwiche jammed all in for 35,000 on the button.

Muradov quickly folded, after which Kolev stuck in a call. Navas Robles got out of the way as well and the two players showed down.

Boris Kolev: AK
Imad Derwiche: AK

Both played Big Slick, but the 257 flop gave Kolev a flush draw. The 6 turn bricked out, but the J river gave Kolev his flush and eliminated Derwiche from the Main Event on his second and final bullet.

Kolev, meanwhile, crossed the 200,000-chip mark by winning this pot and became one of the biggest stacks in the room.
