The players have now been sent on their second 20-minute break of the day.
Following an open raise, Kartik Ved three-bet to 3,000 from the button and Georgios Karakousis four-bet all in for 12,000 from the small blind. Ved called and players flipped their cards, with Karakousis at risk.
Kartik Ved: A♥K♠
Georgios Karakousis: 9♦9♠
The board ran out 4♦7♠4♠7♥10♠. Karakousis held with his pocket nines to win the pot and double up his stack.
Following a middle position open raise to 900, Paraskevas Tsokaridid called, then Carlo Savinelli three-bet to 3,300 from the button. Geoffrey Quenechen called in the small blind and Tsokaridid also called.
The flop came 6♦6♥3♦ and all three players checked. The turn was the A♦. Quenechen bet 5,000 and Savinelli called. The river was the 5♥ and both players checked. Quenechen showed K♦K♣ for pocket kings and Savinelli had A♥Q♣ for top pair.
Jakub Michalak raised for Luca Moschitta to call and Razvan Popa then three-bet to 2,400, earning calls from both Michalak and Moschitta. On a flop of 8♥6♥2♥, the action checked to Popa and he bet 3,000. Michalak folded and Moschitta check-raised to 7,100 for Popa to quickly call.
That led them to the 3♥ turn on which Moschitta check-jammed for 11,000 and Popa called, having bet 5,500.
Luca Moschitta: K♥9♥
Razvan Popa: 10♥10♦
The river was an insignificant 8♣ and Moschitta doubled.
One hand later, Popa opened and Francois Vincenti three-bet to 3,500 off a shorter stack. Popa four-bet to 8,000 and called Vincenti's shove.
Francois Vincenti: J♣J♠
Razvan Popa: K♠K♥
The A♦9♥8♣2♣10♠ board brought no help and Vincenti departed right before the break.
Victor Gomez raised to 1,000 from the cutoff and Ricardo De Andrade defended in the big blind.
De Andrade check-called a bet of 1,200 from Gomez on the 6♠7♠5♦ flop.
The 9♣ turn checked through to the 7♥ on the river. De Andrade led out for 5,200 and Gomez didn't take long to toss in the call. De Andrade tabled A♠3♥ for ace high, while Gomez won this pot with Q♠9♠ for top pair.
In a duel hijack versus button, the flop showed A♣8♥7♣ and Wei Huang bet 1,800 for Jean-Pierre Boulad to call. The same action repeated on the J♦ turn for 3,500 and Huang then bet the 6♥ river for 11,000 with 15,000 behind.
Boulad went into the tank for a minute before he called but couldn't beat the 8♣8♠ for a flopped set by Huang.
