Gill Shows Kings as Franchi Folds

Harpreet Gill raised and picked up a call before Malcolm Franchi three-bet from the small blind for 7,000. Gill then moved all in for 55,500. Franchi weighed it up, apologizing to the table as he agonized over the decision.

"You never know, you might get lucky," said Gill as Franchi gathered his chips.

Upon hearing that, Franchi quickly folded and Gill tabled pocket kings.

"Did you have queens?" asked Gill, But Franchi would not show.

Thiriat Chops With Le Baron

Sebastien Le Baron raised and Arthur Thiriat then pushed forward 21,000 for a three-bet. Le Baron slid forward a stack of chips for slightly more than the three-bet and already opened his AK, thinking Thiriat was all-in.

However, Thiriat had 700 chips behind and the floor was called. It was ruled as just a call by Le Baron, and they got it in after the J63 flop. Thiriat tabled the A3 and they somehow chopped after the 6 turn as well as J river runout.

Markku Koplimaa open raised from middle position, Jonathan Abdellatif three-bet to 5,300 from late position, and Koplimaa called.

The flop came 5A8. Koplimaa checked, Abdellatif bet 6,500 and Koplimaa called. The turn came the 7 and Koplimaa checked again. Abdellatif moved all in for the rest of his opponent's stack, around 23,000 effective. Koplimaa folded and Abdellatif took the pot.
