[Removed:526] Breaks Even on Interesting Table

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Aliaksandr Yarosh raised to 5,500 from under the gun on a table with, among others, Bryn Kenney and several of the larger stacks in the Main Event. [Removed:471] made it 16,000 to go from the next seat over and Yarosh obliged with a call.

Yarosh check-called a 12,500 continuation-bet on the J106 flop before the 9 turn and 7 river were checked through.

Yarosh showed AK for the winning hand as [Removed:526] tabled AQ for a lesser ace-high.

One hand later, [Removed:526] opened to 5,000 from under the gun and got Bryn Kenney and Ihar Soika to come along with him. The trio went on to check the flop of 7K10 before [Removed:526] fired 15,000 on the 9 turn.

Kenney made the call while Soika got out of the way. The 9 river was then checked again and [Removed:526] tabled K10 for two pair. Kenney's cards hit the muck as he fell to a stack of 30 big blinds.

Alex Keating opened the action with a raise to 5,000 from middle position and Dan Laidlaw responded with a shove for around 40,000 from the next seat. It folded back to Keating who asked for a count, but then called before an exact amount was given.

Dan Laidlaw: AK
Alex Keating: 1010

The flip went to Keating thanks to a board of Q5483 and he then jokingly mentioned "I won five out of five flips today, my mum would have 500k now, I am playing so bad".

Timo Kamphues replied "I have never seen you lose a flip" before they carried on with more table chatter.

The action started with a raise to 5,000 by Gonzalo Almeida and Kevin Fernandez Ferrer then pushed all-in from one seat over in the hijack. Pierre Merlin called all-in out of the cutoff for around four blinds and the action then reached Lewis Spencer in the small blind.

"How much is the bigger one?" Spencer inquired and the shove by Fernandez Ferrer was for 37,000 total, which the Brit just called. Almeida got out of the way and the cards were revealed.

Pierre Merlin: 44
Kevin Fernandez Ferrer: AK
Lewis Spencer: QQ

Merlin took the lead with the 743 flop for a potential quadruple up and retained it on the 8 turn. He only needed to dodge a queen but the Q fell on the river to give Spencer the superior set for a double knockout.

Mulder Has the Superior Straight

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

There was only a small main pot with a completed board and cards revealed over on table 20. The stacks of Teun Mulder and Alexander Wurz were counted as it was a close affair on the 982410 runout.

Wurz's 76 for the bottom end of the straight ended up being no good as Mulder had QJ for the nut straight. He also covered the 54,000 of Wurz to reduce the field by one.
