Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Guillaume Nolet raised to 6,000 in early position and chip leader Gregory Fournier called in the big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 5329J when Fournier led out for 3,000. Nolet then raised to 22,000.

Fournier spent a minute in the tank before calling as Nolet showed KJ for a rivered pair of jacks. "Nice river," Fournier said as he flashed the J before mucking.

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Barakeh Fadi opened to 6,500 in late position and Diogo Coelho called in the hijack, the rest of the table folded. Both players checked the J103 flop and the A came on the turn.

Some Assorted Counts With 300 Remaining

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Frank Lagodich raised out of the hijack only for Iurii Kondrat on the button to make it 17,000 to go. It folded back to Lagodich, who clicked it back to 35,000. Kondrat went into the tank and eventually folded.

One table over, Ignacio Molina raised to 6,000 in the cutoff. Soenke Jahn jammed for 54,500 and Molina went into the tank, then started some small talk.

"You don't really want the call, right?" Molina asked.

"No, I run really bad in these," Jahn responded.

Molina then folded and mentioned he let go of king-queen.

"Okay, I take it back, I want the call. I would have been in great shape with ace-queen," Jahn concluded.

Odeen Doubles and Damages Dowling

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jerry Odeen
Jerry Odeen

Bryn Kenney opened to 7,000 and faced a three-bet to 19,500 from Jerry Odeen.

Action folded to Chris Dowling, who pondered his options for a moment, before producing a cold four-bet to 50,000.

Kenney quickly folded, but Odeen went into the tank.

After about two minutes, Odeen announced he was all-in and Dowling made the quick call, with Odeen at risk.

Jerry Odeen: AK
Chris Dowling: QQ

It was the classic race, and Dowling didn't remain ahead for long, the flop coming 6K10 to give Odeen a pair of kings, a lead he would not relinquish on the 93 runout.

Boika Cracks Aces but Remains Kind

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Aliaksei Boika
Aliaksei Boika

Aliaksei Boika got his stack of 53,000 chips in from the small blind against Nicolas Lecoeuvre in the hijack.

Aliaksei Boika: KQ
Nicolas Lecoeuvre: AA

Boika flopped one pair on K38 and turned two of them on the Q. The 7 river did not counterfeit him and he doubled up.

After the fact, Boika felt like he received too many chips and requested a recount of his stack. It turned out that he indeed received 6,000 too much, and it was swiftly returned to Lecoeuvre.

Custodio Sniffs Out a Bluff From Pedersen

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Custodio
Daniel Custodio

In a blind versus blind confrontation and 26,000 in the pot, Daniel Custodio and Christian Pedersen checked the A76 flop.

The turn was the K and Pedersen bet 12,000. Custodio called and checked over to Pedersen again on the 3 river. Pedersen then bet 40,000.

As Custodio was spending several minutes in the tank, tablemate Tobias Peters noticed Stefan Olofsson was wearing an EPT pin in the lapel of his navy blue suit and asked where to get one.

"They were giving it away about a year or two ago," Olofsson replied.

"Did you have to win anything?" Tobias asked.

"No. I look like staff walking around," the impeccably dressed Olofsson replied.

Custodio finally flicked in a chip to call and Pedersen showed QJ for a bluff. Custodio turned over KJ to win the pot with a pair of kings.
