Barer and Danchev Pick Up Pots

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ami Barer raised to 21,000 with A9 and Eliot Hudon stuck around holding the K8 in the big blind. Hudon made the second pair on Q87 and check-called for 17,000. He then bet the 5 turn for 21,000 and Barer went for a large raise to 140,000 to claim the pot.

Dimitar Danchev opened to 20,000 from under the gun with AK, which was flatted by Byron Kaverman with the AQ in the cutoff. Neither player connected with the 983 flop and Danchev checked, as did Kaverman, to see the 4 turn for free.

They checked once more to the K river on which Danchev made top pair. He bet 45,000 and Kaverman hero-called with ace-high to lose a small portion of his stack.
