Barny Boatman opened to 10,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 32,000 by Eero Rantala on the button. Action folded back to Boatman, who called.

Boatman proceeded to check-call Rantala down on every street. First for 36,000 on the 887 flop, then for 63,000 on the 4 turn, and finally for 100,000 on the 5 river. Rantala could only show KJ and Boatman turned over 66 for a straight and was sent the pot.

"The river made it easier, but I had already decided [to call]," Boatman said.
