Ponakovs quickly folded and the pot was awarded to Dodd.

A few hands later, Dodd raised his A♦K♣ to 240,000 from the cutoff, receiving a call from David Kaufmann in the big blind, who played 8♠7♦. The flop came out 7♠9♠A♠ and both players checked.

Kaufmann then check-called Dodd's 250,000 bet on the 4♥ turn before the 10♣ river was knuckled down again. Dodd's Big Slick won at showdown and he chipped up further.

The Q♠7♠2♥ flop was checked through before Kaufmann fired 440,000 on the 9♥ turn, after a second check from Jorgne.

Jorgne thought about it for a few seconds but eventually folded the best hand as Kaufmann raked in another pot.

The flop came Q♠10♥8♦ and Barer, holding A♦J♦, led out for 375,000 with his straight draw. Dodd folded A♥9♥, while Ponakovs tanked for a moment before also mucking J♥8♥.

Lorenzo Arduini raised to 250,000 from middle position with A♣9♣ and the action folded to David Kaufmann in the big blind, who defended his 8♦8♣.

The flop fell 4♦10♠K♥ and Kaufmann checked to Arduini, who made a bet of 150,000. Kaufmann was undeterred and made the call, however.

The 5♠ turn saw Arduini fire a second barrel of 600,000, and this time it was enough to make Kaufmann lay his hand down.

Action folded to David Kaufmann who limped in from the small blind with 5♠5♦. Aleksejs Ponakovs checked back J♦7♠ and they saw a flop of 9♦8♣3♥.

Both players checked and the 8♠ fell on the turn. Kaufmann checked again and Ponakovs bet 240,000. Kaufmann called.

The river was the 6♠ and Kaufmann checked for a third time. Ponakovs then bet 610,000. Kaufmann used a time bank as he tanked for nearly a minute before mucking his pair as Ponakovs took the pot with his jack-high bluff.

Barny Boatman was first to act and raised to 250,000 with A♥Q♠. Aleksejs Ponakovs made the call in the small blind with 2♥2♦ and the two went off to a flop of 7♥10♥8♥, which they both checked.

The 3♥ turn gave both players a flush and Ponakovs checked to Boatman. The latter then made a bet of 275,000 and Ponakovs mucked his cards after spending a time bank extension.

The action folded back to Barer, who weighed his options for a bit before electing to muck his cards and forfeit the pot to Dodd.

Dodd had hit top pair and checked to Kaufmann, who continued for 165,000. Dodd called and the 4♦ fell on the turn.

Kaufmann then bet 750,000 and Dodd used a time bank before getting rid of his pair.

Jorgne Wins Final Pot Before Dinner

Peter Jorgne raised to 240,000 from early position with A♠Q♥ and Ami Barer came along in the cutoff with A♦K♦. The rest of the table went on their dinner break and a 4♠2♦2♠ flop was fanned.

Jorgne continued for 300,000 and a call followed from Barer. The Q♦ turn then paired up Jorgne but gave Barer a flush draw.

Jorgne slid 575,000 chips more into the middle, and Barer stuck around with a call. The 3♥ river completed the board and Jorgne completed his triple barrel with a bet of 775,000.

Barer spent two time bank cards before finally letting his cards go and heading off to a belated dinner.
