Dodd Wins With Premiums

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 240,000 with Q10 from early position and the action folded to Owen Dodd in the small blind, who shoved all in for 2,110,000 with AQ.

Ponakovs quickly folded and the pot was awarded to Dodd.

A few hands later, Dodd raised his AK to 240,000 from the cutoff, receiving a call from David Kaufmann in the big blind, who played 87. The flop came out 79A and both players checked.

Kaufmann then check-called Dodd's 250,000 bet on the 4 turn before the 10 river was knuckled down again. Dodd's Big Slick won at showdown and he chipped up further.

The flop came Q108 and Barer, holding AJ, led out for 375,000 with his straight draw. Dodd folded A9, while Ponakovs tanked for a moment before also mucking J8.

Arduini Battles Versus Chipleader

Lorenzo Arduini raised to 250,000 from middle position with A9 and the action folded to David Kaufmann in the big blind, who defended his 88.

The flop fell 410K and Kaufmann checked to Arduini, who made a bet of 150,000. Kaufmann was undeterred and made the call, however.

The 5 turn saw Arduini fire a second barrel of 600,000, and this time it was enough to make Kaufmann lay his hand down.

The river was the 6 and Kaufmann checked for a third time. Ponakovs then bet 610,000. Kaufmann used a time bank as he tanked for nearly a minute before mucking his pair as Ponakovs took the pot with his jack-high bluff.

Barny Boatman was first to act and raised to 250,000 with AQ. Aleksejs Ponakovs made the call in the small blind with 22 and the two went off to a flop of 7108, which they both checked.

The 3 turn gave both players a flush and Ponakovs checked to Boatman. The latter then made a bet of 275,000 and Ponakovs mucked his cards after spending a time bank extension.

Jorgne Wins Final Pot Before Dinner

Peter Jorgne raised to 240,000 from early position with AQ and Ami Barer came along in the cutoff with AK. The rest of the table went on their dinner break and a 422 flop was fanned.

Jorgne continued for 300,000 and a call followed from Barer. The Q turn then paired up Jorgne but gave Barer a flush draw.

Jorgne slid 575,000 chips more into the middle, and Barer stuck around with a call. The 3 river completed the board and Jorgne completed his triple barrel with a bet of 775,000.

Barer spent two time bank cards before finally letting his cards go and heading off to a belated dinner.
