Unlucky Runout Sends Marques to the Rail
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
The action folded around to Sirzat Hissou in the small blind and he announced all-in. Pedro Marques was in the big blind with roughly 250,000. After using a time bank, he reluctantly called.
Pedro Marques: K♣6♦
Sirzat Hissou: 9♠6♠
Marques was way ahead briefly, until the dealer revealed the 8♠7♦3♠ flop, giving Hissou a straight and flush draw. The 7♠ turn sealed Marques' fate and the 2♣ river was just a formality.
