Filstein Goes From Zero to Hero

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The spin-up continues for Arik Filstein as he just doubled up again to around 375,000!

Filstein said he just called a three-bet from Stefan Burch and got the chips in on a low flop. Filstein's KxKx was too good for the QxQx of Burch, which saw him become one of the chip leaders!

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolas Bokowski
Nicolas Bokowski

On a board of A78107, there were around 40,000 chips in the middle when Nicolas Bokowski checked from the big blind and Aleksey Cherkasov bet 20,000 from middle position. Bokowski then shoved, which put Cherkasov to the test for his remaining stack of 40,000. Some time went by while Cherkasov tried to piece together the puzzle, and eventually he called.

Bokowski then showed a straight with J9, and Cherkasov was forced to show A9 before he departed, which left Bokowski with a stack of almost 450,000!

Daniel Koloszar
Daniel Koloszar

Daniel Koloszar was all in for 100,000 and at risk versus Daniel Abrahamsson.

Daniel Koloszar: KK All in
Daniel Abrahamsson: J10

Koloszar looked in great shape, but was in trouble after the 853 flop gave his opponent a flush.

Koloszar still had outs to a higher flush. The K turn gave him extra outs with top set if he filled up, but the Q river was a brick, sending the unfortunate Koloszar to the rail.

Pinna Doubles Through Dahl; Filstein Spins Up From One Big Blind

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Victor Pinna
Victor Pinna

Kristian Dahl raised to 10,000 from under the gun and Victor Pinna shoved from the next seat for 76,000. When the action got back to Dahl, he took his time before he dropped in the call with a stack of around 100,000.

Victor Pinna: 99 All in
Kristian Dahl: AQ

It was a fair flip where Pinna kept his advantage through the 5K8 flop and even picked up a flush draw on the J turn. Dahl needed to connect with the river, but instead Pinna improved to a set when the 9 completed the board, which earned him a double-up.

On the same table is Arik Filstein, who was down to just one big blind not too long ago, but has gone on a major spin-up and now has around 200,000 in front of him.
