Abdulzahra Comes Out on Top in Rollercoaster Runout

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Valentin Schramm on the button and Ali Abdulzahra from the small blind got their chips into the middle preflop, with the former at risk for his stack of around 60,000.

Valentin Schramm: A10 All in
Ali Abdulzahra: KQ

Schramm was marginally ahead, but it was Abdulzahra who took the lead on the 6Q10 flop after he paired his queen. However, the A turn saw Schramm regain control as he made two pair with just one card to come.

A queen or a jack were what Abdulzahra needed, and that's what he got when the Q river improved him to trips, which ended Schramm's run.

Shatiat Backdoors a Flush, Baranyi Pays Off Value Bet

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a board of 4K6J, there were around 40,000 chips in the pot when Amir Shatiat checked from middle position and Vincze Baranyi bet 14,000 on the button. Shatiat called.

An A dropped on the river and Shatiat led out with a bet of 33,000, which sent Baranyi into the tank. Around a minute passed and Baranyi finally elected to call, then quickly mucked when he saw the 86 of Shatiat, who had rivered a flush.

Kropaneva Takes Three-Bet Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Xavier Coutereel opened to 8,000 from middle position and was met with a three-bet to 25,000 by Tatiana Kropaneva. Action folded back to Coutereel, who asked to see his opponent's stack before calling.

On the K62 flop, Coutereel checked, and Kropaneva wasted little time in moving the rest of her 63,000 stack into the middle. Coutereel swiftly disposed of his hand.

Around 30,000 was in the middle on a board of K1027, in a button versus big blind spot between Rama Prema and Vivian Saliba, with Saliba check-calling a bet of 13,000 from her opponent.

The A hit on the river, and Prema jammed with the covering stack after thinking Saliba had checked. Saliba, who had 41,000 behind maintained she hadn't, but ended up folding anyway. Prema apologized, stating he genuinely thought Saliba had checked.
