Action folded around to the blinds, where Tim van Kemenade called from the small. Jack Sinclair took his option and raised to 600,000 from the big, which was met with a shove from Van Kemenade for approximately 3,000,000 total. Sinclair quickly called and a showdown was held.

The J♦J♥4♥ flop was checked through. On the 3♣ turn, Spatharis led out with a bet of 400,000, and only Sklenicka called.

The 6♥ river completed the board, and Spatharis jammed for 5,000,000, just covering Sklenicka, who let his hand go. Spatharis showed K♦7♦ for air.

Theodoros Ampelikiotis raised to 400,000 on the button and Ricardo Caridade defended his big blind.

Caridade check-called a 750,000 bet from Ampelikiotis on the 9♥10♠2♣ flop and then led out for 500,000 after the 2♠ turn paired the board. Ampelikiotis called.

The 9♠ filled the river and Caridade fired 3,600,000 into the middle, sending Ampelikiotis deep into the tank.

Ampelikiotis eventually called and Caridade tabled 8♥2♥ for deuces-full. Ampelikiotis couldn't beat it and sent his hand into the muck to award Caridade the pot.
