Martin Tsvetanov opened to 500,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 2,250,000 by Jack Sinclair in the small blind. It was folded back to Tsvetanov, who announced he was all in for 11,750,000 total. Sinclair verified the amount and stuck in a call to put Tsvetanov at risk.

Mykhailo Demydenko and Gerald Karlic got into a preflop raising war that ended with Karlic all in for 6,700,000 on the button against Demydenko, who had Karlic covered from the cutoff.

The 4♣3♠8♥ flop was safe for Demydenko, but the A♦ turn paired Karlic's ace and left Demydenko drawing to two outs.

It wasn't meant to be, as the A♣ river needlessly improved Karlic to trip aces to award him the double up.

The 9♦ turn followed the same pattern, this time in respect of a 875,000 bet from Nielsen.

The 9♥ river was checked through. Nielsen had 10♥5♥ for ten-high, and Kiers took the pot with A♠2♠ for two pair, aces and nines.

Theodoros Ampelikiotis raised to 400,000 on the button and Ricardo Caridade defended his big blind.

Caridade check-called a 750,000 bet from Ampelikiotis on the 9♥10♠2♣ flop and then led out for 500,000 after the 2♠ turn paired the board. Ampelikiotis called.

The 9♠ filled the river and Caridade fired 3,600,000 into the middle, sending Ampelikiotis deep into the tank.

Ampelikiotis eventually called and Caridade tabled 8♥2♥ for deuces-full. Ampelikiotis couldn't beat it and sent his hand into the muck to award Caridade the pot.
