Elias Suhonen opened to 10,000 from the cutoff, and received action from Espen Jorstad in the big blind.
On the J♥10♥7♣ flop, Suhonen continued with a bet of 8,000 after a check from Jorstad. Jorstad pondered the spot for a moment before raising to 150,000, covering Suhonen's remaining stack of around 70,000. Suhonen wasted little time in getting the rest of his chips into the middle.

Espen Jorstad: K♦J♠
Suhonen's overpair kings had Jorstad's top pair jacks dominated, and the 4♥3♥ turn and river confirmed his double-up.
After tripling up his short stack, Steve O'Dwyer moved all in from under the gun for around 20,000. Roman Hrabec, who had lost half of his stack the hand before, pushed all in over the top for around 115,000. Thomas Santerne then called in the big blind and had both players covered as the cards were turned.
Steve O'Dwyer: A♠8♠
Roman Hrabec: K♦Q♥
Thomas Santerne: J♥J♦
The board ran out 3♦K♣7♣8♥7♥ and Hrabec paired his king on the flop to get ahead. O'Dwyer was eliminated and Santerne lost a chunk of chips and Hrabec chipped back up.
In one of the first pots of the day, action folded around to Wouter Beltz, who pushed all in for around ten big blinds from the button. Steve O'Dwyer isolated from the small blind, shoving for his starting stack. Roman Hrabec called in the big blind with slightly less than O'Dwyer. He had Beltz covered as players turned their cards.
Wouter Beltz: A♣J♣
Roman Hrabec: A♠Q♠
Steve O'Dwyer: A♦6♥
The board ran out Q♦2♦9♥3♣4♦ and Hrabec paired his queen on the flop. He held to win the pot, eliminating Beltz from the tournament and leaving O'Dwyer with less than two big blinds.
After the dust settled on a rapid Day 1 of the €10,200 Mystery Bounty yesterday at the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour at the Hilton Prague, only 19 players bagged and tagged for Day 2 from a total of 36 entrants.
Andras Nemeth of Hungary streaked ahead of the rest of the field after ten levels of play, catching some heat late on in the day and bagging up a 616,000 stack - almost double that of his closest challenger, Swedish crusher Niklas Astedt (323,000). Maksim Vaskresenski of Poland (302,000) was the only other player to breach the 300,000 mark, and he completes the podium places at the start of Day 2.
Andras Nemeth
Nemeth and Astedt are no strangers to EPT glory, with Nemeth seeking his fifth victory in an EPT event, and Astedt eyeing his fourth. Vaskresenski meanwhile will be aiming to grab his first spade trophy.
Plenty of other dangermen lurk in the top ten, including Thomas Santerne (279,000) and former World Champion Espen Jorstad (212,000).
