Raez Climbs Higher with a Timely Turn

Konstantyn Holskyi opened the action with a raise to 400,000 from the cutoff. Friedrich Raez, sitting on the button, responded with a three-bet to approximately 1,500,000. Holskyi wasted no time and shoved all in, prompting a snap-call from Raez.

Holskyi was ahead preflop and remained in the lead as the dealer revealed 8♥4♥6♠.

However, the turn brought the Q♦, flipping the script and giving Raez top pair.

The river 2♦ sealed the deal, granting Raez the double-up and leaving Holskyi to ponder what might have been.

The flop was very good for Sztenkiel as it came 4♥5♣3♥. The turn card 6♦ was no help to Burmistrov and the river 8♦ ended Burmistrov's fantastic run in the high roller.

Lipnitskii Holds Strong with Aces

Vladimir Lipnitskii opened the action from early position with a raise to 500,000, and Piotr Sztenkiel defended his big blind.

Both players opted to check the 7♣8♦7♥ flop, keeping the pot manageable.

The action heated up on the 7♦ turn when Sztenkiel led out with a bet of 800,000. Lipnitskii called, though he appeared less than thrilled with the situation.

When the 5♦ landed on the river, Sztenkiel fired another bullet, this time for 1,200,000. Lipnitskii, visibly deliberating, eventually made the call. Sztenkiel revealed K♥9♦ for king-high, but Lipnitskii turned over his A♦A♠, securing the pot with a full house.

Mariusz Golinski raised under the gun to 500,000 and Konstantyn Holskyi to his direct left shoved all in for 3,300,000. Action is now with Matteo Calzoni in the cutoff who also announced "all-in" for 2,925,000.

Golinski who covered both players also called after a short while.

The flop of 2♥7♣3♦ looked safe for Calzoni and Golinski but the poker gods had other ideas as Holskyi turned top pair J♥. The 2♦ did nothing for Calzoni and he was eliminated.
