Action was picked up after Thierry Gogniat moved all in from the small blind over an early position open to 20,000 from Martin Finger. Gogniat was all-in for 134,000 and Finger moved all in over the top. Ivan Banic had flat the initial open on the button and pondered his decision as to whether to call. He had both players covered but eventually he folded.

Vladimir Heinich opened to 16,000 from early position, and received a call from Victor-Dan Angelescu on the button, before Hoang Phan produced a three-bet to 55,000 from the big blind. Heinich pumped it up further to 110,000, Angelscu got out of the way, and Phan called.

On the Q♠3♦2♥ flop, Phan check-called a bet of 55,000 from Heinich.

The A♦ turn and 5♣ river were checked through. Phan tabled 9♦9♣ for a pair of nines, but Heinich had K♣K♦ for a pair of kings.

Morais with roughly 120,000 behind eventually called but got shown the bad news as Wilson tabled A♠J♦. Morais showed A♦2♦.

Wilson took his chip stack over 600,000 and collected a mystery bounty.
