Segatto Paid for Aces

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Following an early position raise and call, Massimo Segatto three-bet to 2,400 from the hijack and John Kitchen called in the cutoff. They were the only two players to reach the flop, as the rest of the table folded.

The flop came 584 and Segatto continued the aggression with a bet of 3,100, which Kitchen called. Segatto then checked on the K turn and Kitchen checked behind.

The river was the J and Segatto put out a bet of 4,000. Kitchen went into the tank, resting his head on his arms as he stared across at his opponent. He eventually made the call and Segatto turned over AA to win the pot.

Carrera's Jack is Good

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With exactly 8,000 chips in the middle going to a turn on the 310J4 board, John Adderley checked and Rolando Carrera fired out 3,000. Adderley called.

A 5 on the river saw the two check down at lightning speed where Adderley showed A10 for a pair of tens, but Carrera had the winner with QJ for a pair of jacks.

Lofberg’s Aces Hold in a Modest Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With around 1,800 already in the pot and the board reading KAQ6, Simon Lofberg, first to act, checked over to Lasse Hansen. Hansen took the lead with a bet of 900, putting the decision back on Lofberg. After some long deliberation, Lofberg opted to call.

The J landed on the river, and Lofberg checked once more. Hansen, appearing less confident, decided against another bet and checked back.

At showdown, Lofberg revealed A5 for a pair of aces, which was enough to take down the pot as Hansen mucked his cards without further contest.

Bayram's Aggression Pays Off

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Haci Bayram
Haci Bayram

Antoine Vranken opened the action to 400 from middle position, and Anton Bergstrom three-bet to 1,000 from the cutoff. On his direct left, Haci Bayram attempted to raise to 1,400 but, not seeing Bergstrom's three-bet, was informed by the dealer that he has to call. Vranken also called, creating a three-way pot.

The flop came K98. Vranken checked, and Bergstrom bet 1,500. Bayram responded with a raise to 3,500, prompting Vranken to fold. Bergstrom made the call to continue heads-up.

The turn brought the Q, and after Bergstrom checked, Bayram fired 3,500 again. The bet was enough to take down the pot, with Bayram's aggression paying off.

River Chaos as Mitrovic Accidentally Shows His Hand

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Paawan Bansal
Paawan Bansal

A highly unusual situation just unfolded at Table #11 during a hand between Paawan Bansal and Hrvoje Mitrovic.

According to the action recounted to PokerNews, the player on the button opened the betting, Mitrovic called from the small blind, and Bansal three-bet from the big blind. The button folded, and Mitrovic called to see a flop.

The flop came down 2J4, and Mitrovic check-called a continuation bet from Bansal. When the A appeared on the turn, Mitrovic again check-called, this time for 2,700.

The river brought the 10, and Mitrovic immediately moved all-in for roughly 23,000 — about twice the size of the pot — igniting drama at the table.

"What are you doing to me here?" Bansal asked. "Will you show if I fold?"

Mitrovic, who had been covering his cards with both hands since shoving, inadvertently revealed his holdings — K8 — as he fumbled his cards momentarily. With that information in hand, Bansal declared, "Sorry, I have to call."

"This is sick," remarked Mitrovic as he turned over his cards officially. Bansal revealed 43 for a pair of fours, enough to scoop the pot in this extraordinary hand.

"Sorry man, you either had king-queen or nothing, I wanted to call," Bansal finished with.

Traian-Costin Stanciu opened the action from early position with a raise to 300, drawing calls from both blinds.

The flop came K6J, and after both blinds checked, Stanciu continued for 400. Only Cedric Schwaederle in the small blind called to proceed to the turn.

The 2 turn saw another check from Schwaederle, giving Stanciu the chance to ramp up the pressure with a bet of 1,500. After some thought, Schwaederle made the call.

The 6 river prompted one final check from Schwaederle. Stanciu paused briefly before firing a third barrel, this time for 4,100. Schwaederle went deep into the tank, taking nearly three minutes to deliberate, but ultimately let his hand go, conceding the pot to Stanciu's unrelenting aggression.
