Mouroutis Finds the Call to Chop

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action picked up on the 2104 flop, where Roman Yurkiv led out with a bet of 3,000, and Nikolaos Mouroutis made the call. Liam O’Donoghue, next to act, responded with a three-bet to 12,000. Yurkiv folded, but Mouroutis called.

The turn brought the 8. Mouroutis checked, and O’Donoghue moved all in for 24,900. Mouroutis went deep into the tank, contemplating for about three minutes before tossing a blue chip into the pot to signal a call.

Liam O’Donoghue: A10 All in
Nikolaos Mouroutis: A10

Both players held identical hands, and with the 9 on the river, they chopped the pot.

Bartolacci Clashes With Kaukua in Big Flop Confrontation

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Toni Kaukua
Toni Kaukua

Luca Bartolacci raised to 1,600 from early position and picked up a call before Toni Kaukua three-bet to 5,600. Only Bartolacci called.

The flop came J103 and Bartolacci checked. Kaukua bet 20,000 and Bartolacci responded by moving all in with his stack of over 100,000. Kaukua made the call for around 80,000 and the cards were turned in what was a huge pot.

Toni Kaukua: AK All in
Luca Bartolacci: KQ

Kaukua had a flush draw with overcards and was ahead as Bartolacci turned over his hand to show a straight draw.

The turn was a blank, the 4, but the A river was about as dramatic as it could be. Kaukua paired his ace, but it also gave Bartolacci a straight.

Bartolacci won the pot and stood up in celebration, taking a deep breath out as a sigh of relief. Kaukua could only say, "Oh my god!" as he handed over his stack and exited the tournament.

Lampropulos Pays Off Bottom Pair

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The pot had grown to around 6,000 in a blind versus blind confrontation with the full board reading 410107J.

Abraham Truzman, in the small blind, bet out 1,500. Maria Lampropulos, in the big blind, thought for some time before flicking in the call.

Truzman rolled over Q4 for just a pair of fours; good enough to steal this pot from Lampropulos.

Hasler let his hand go and Hulme called to put Oie at risk after getting a count.

Ryan Plant raised to 1,600 from early position, and Samuel Ju called from the button. Antoine Labat was next to act and moved all in for 8,800. Plant shoved as well and Ju folded.

Antoine Labat: AQ All in
Ryan Plant: 44

Labat needed to connect with the board to stay in the tournament, but the 482 flop left him drawing really thin. The 8 on the turn gave Plant a full house, and the J on the river sealed the deal. Plant scooped the pot, eliminating Labat from the tournament.

Alessandro Pichierri

Dimitrios Nanos raised to 1,600 from middle position, Alessandro Pichierri three-bet to 5,500, from the cutoff, and Nanos called.

The JJ6 flop saw Nanos check and then call a bet of 3,000 from Pichierri.

The 10 turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Pichierri sized up to 10,500.

The 2 river prompted a third check from Nanos. Pichierri bet out 35,000 and Nanos moved all in for just under 49,000. Pichierri, the covering stack, snap-called.

Rachid El Yaacoubi

Rachid El Yaacoubi raised to 1,600 from under the gun, Bela Ignasz three-bet to 4,500 from the hijack, then Enrico Camosci four-bet to 10,500. El Yaacoubi then pushed all in for 21,000, which sent Ignasz deep into the tank. The floor were called and Ignasz eventually folded.

Camosci was already pot committed, shrugged and put his chips in the middle to put El Yaacoubi at risk.

Rachid El Yaacoubi: AK All in
Enrico Camosci: AJ

"I think I have one out," said Camosci. "You had a jack, right?" he said to Ignasz.

From one out to many, the flop came K68 to give Camosci a flush draw and El Yaacoubi a pair of kings. The turn was a blank, the Q, but the river came the 7 to complete Camosci's flush. He won the pot and El Yaacoubi was sent to the rail.
