Sole Leads The River

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Ignacio Aparicio opened the action to 1,700 from under the gun and received calls from Miroslav Forman, Johan Eklind, and Giuseppe Rosa from the big blind.

Sole made a continuation bet of 2,000 on the JJ6 flop, and only Eklind called.

The turn brought the 10, and this time, Sole checked. Eklind put out a bet of 2,500, which Sole called.

The dealer completed the board with the 6, and Aparicio changed gears once again and led out for 10,000. Eklind went deep into the tank before finally calling, only to see Sole's full house with K6. Eklind tossed his cards into the muck, and Sole added more to his stack.

Sklenicka Makes Straight to Bust Mahmudi

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Michael Sklenicka
Michael Sklenicka

Michael Sklenicka open-raised to 1,700, Felix Schneiders called on the button, then Burim Mahmudi three-bet to 1,700 from the big blind. Sklenicka and Schneiders both called and three players went to the flop.

The flop ran out QJK and Mahmudi continued for 5,000. Sklenicka raised it up to 17,600, Schneiders folded and Mahmudi made the call.

On the A turn, Mahmudi checked and Sklenicka pushed forward a bet of 31,000, which was more than half of his stack. Mahmudi called and left himself a little over 10,000.

The river came the 2 and the rest of Mahmudi's chips went in the middle as he bet and Sklenicka moved all in. Mahmudi had AK for two pair, but Sklenicka turned over 109 for the nut straight to win the pot.

Sklenicka chipped up to nearly 150,000 and Mahmudi was eliminated from the tournament.

Steinfeuer Wins With Queens After Preflop Mishap

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Thomas Hueber opened to 1,800 from middle position and was called by Iago Savino in the hijack and Koyes Miah on the button. Before Dimitri Steinfeuer had a chance to act from the small blind, Eduardo Escada squeezed to 8,400 from the big blind.

It was ruled that Escada's raise would stand that that Steinfeuer had an option to act based on that action. Steinfeuer cold-called the squeeze and everyone else got out of way.

Steinfeuer and Escada then checked down on the K3K flop, 7 turn, and 4 river.

Steinfeuer revealed QQ and Escada sent his hand into the muck.
