Hajdari’s Straight Sends Schulze Packing

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

PokerNews caught the action with the pot at approximately 14,800 and the board showing 78392. Sebastian Schulze, first to act, checked to Fehim Hajdari.

After a brief pause to consider his options, Hajdari moved all in, putting Schulze to the test. Schulze went into the tank for about three minutes before ultimately deciding to risk it all and called.

Schulze revealed A3x for a modest pair of threes, but Hajdari confidently turned over J10 for a dominating straight, sending Schulze to the rail and adding a solid pot to his stack.

Palevic Peels a Miracle Turn

Rifat Palevic moved all in for 3,100 from early position, Koyes Miah called on the button and Simone Demasi, in the big blind, three-bet to 7,200. Miah called.

With action on the side, the dealer spread the J710 flop. Demasi put Miah all in for his effective stack of 16,200.

"Gamble!" announced Miah as he called off the bet for his tournament life.

Baldissarelli Flops Trips Against Wigg's Pocket Queens

Anton Wigg opened from early position and Rolando Carrera called in middle position. Matheus Baldissarelli also came along from small blind.

The trio saw a flop of 1088, which checked around to the 5 turn. Baldissarelli led out for 3,400, Wigg called, and Carrera quickly folded.

An A dropped on the river and Baldissarelli checked, and Wigg knuckled the table behind.

Baldissarelli then revealed trips with 87, and Wigg showed his QQ.

Hajek Five-Bets Ihnatovich

There was a preflop war at Table 62, starting with Mikalai Ihnatovich opening the action to 1,200 from middle position. Simon Hajek, sitting to his direct left, responded with a three-bet to 3,800.

Ihnatovich raised again, making it 8,700, and the action returned to Hajek. Hajek checked his opponent's stack, then grabbed a pile of blue chips and made a five-bet for the effective all-in of 27,000.

Ihnatovich counted his chips but ultimately decided to fold, and Hajek added more to his stack.

Following an early position raise, Hrayr Grigoryan called, then Arthur Thiriat moved all in from the small blind for 7,500. The original raiser folded and Grigoryan threw in a few more chips to make the call.
