O'Dwyer Runs into Santerne's Cowboys

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer got his 250,000 stack into the middle with Thomas Santerne making the call to try and bust him.

Steve O'Dwyer: JJ All in
Thomas Santerne: KK

O'Dwyer needed to find a jack if he was to remain in his seat. The flop of 658 didn't change anything, but the K on the turn left O'Dwyer drawing dead as an inconsequential 6 came on the river to give Santerne a boat. O'Dwyer was eliminated and Santerne moved up the chip counts.

Artsiom Lasouski
Artsiom Lasouski

Artsiom Lasouski opened and Nikita Kuznetsov defended his big blind.

On a J104 flop Kuznetsov checked and Lasouski continued for 15,000. Kuznetsov check-raised to 85,000 and Lasouski called.

The turn was the 6 and Kuznetsov shoved. Lasouski quickly called for around 165,000.

Artsiom Lasouski: J9 All in
Nikita Kuznetsov: 104

Lasouski had flopped top pair, while a big blind special had handed Kuznetsov two pair. The river A bricked and Lasouski was eliminated.

Camosci Out After King-High Bluff

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Enrico Camosci
Enrico Camosci

Maksim Vaskresenski raised to 12,000 on the button and called a three-bet from Enrico Camosci in the big blind to 60,000.

Camosci bet 21,000 on the AQJ flop and Vaskresenski called. The turn was the 2 and Camosci bet 36,000.

Vaskresenski used a time bank before calling again. The 9 completed the board and Camosci bet 108,000 leaving himself one big blind behind. Vaskresenski called.

Camosci tabled K5 and lost to the A10 of Vaskresenski to be left with just 6,000 behind.

On the very next hand Camosci was all in from the small blind against Nikita Kuznetsov.

Enrico Camosci: Q6 All in
Nikita Kuznetsov: 107

The board came K108J5 and Camosci was eliminated.

Jorstad Doubles Through Kuznetsov

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Espen Jorstad
Espen Jorstad

Start-of-day chip leader Nikita Kuznetsov opened to 12,000 and Kazuhiko Yotsushika three-bet to 30,000. Espen Jorstad re-entered at the start of the day and four-bet all in for 183,000.

It folded back to Kuznetsov who five-bet enough to put Yotsushika all-in, and the Japanese player folded.

Espen Jorstad: AK All in
Nikita Kuznetsov: QQ

There was a king in the window of a K88 flop and Kuznetsov was already pushing his cards face down towards the muck as the 5 rolled off on the turn. It would have been interesting if a queen came on the river as to whether or not Kuznetsov's hand was still live, but it didn't matter as the K improved Jorstad to a full house and he doubled up.

Yaroshevskyy Busts to Mulder's Flush

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Igor Yaroshevskyy
Igor Yaroshevskyy

The action was missed but in a blind on blind confrontation, all of Igor Yaroshevskyy's stack had gone into the middle on the turn of a board showing J536. Teun Mulder was the player trying to bust him from the small blind.

Igor Yaroshevskyy: J6 All in
Teun Mulder: 84

Yaroshevskyy had two pair but he was behind to the flush of Mulder. The 8 came on the river, which didn't improve Yaroshevskyy, and he was the first elimination of the day.
