The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague continues today with one of its most anticipated events as the €50,000 EPT Super High Roller gets underway at 12:30 p.m. local time in the luxurious Hilton Prague.
Last year, Hungary’s Tamas Adamszki emerged victorious, defeating compatriot Laszlo Bujtas in an all-Hungarian heads-up duel. Adamszki earned €394,670 following a deal and Bujtas took home €386,360 for his runner-up finish The tournament drew a field of 23 entries, including some of the biggest names in the game, and created a prize pool of €1,115,730.

This year, the tournament retains 60-minute blind levels throughout, with players starting with a 250,000 starting stack. Day 1 will feature eight levels of play, with late registration remaining open until the start of Day 2. Unlimited reentries are permitted throughout the registration period, offering players the chance to fire multiple bullets if needed.

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 2,500 from middle position with Teun Mulder calling from the small blind, and Maksim Vaskesenski defending out of the big blind.
The action checked to O'Dwyer on the K♦9♠4♥ flop and he put out a continuation-bet of 2,500. Only Mulder called.
Both players checked the J♥ turn for the 8♣ to fall on the river. Mulder led out for 4,000 and O'Dwyer released his hand.

Niklas Astedt opened from under the gun to 3,000. Espen Jorstad then three-bet to 10,000 and Markkos Ladev cold four-bet from the small blind to 32,000.
The big blind folded and with the action back on Astedt he elected to five-bet to 70,000. Jorstad and Ladev both folded.

Tsiareshchanka check-called a bet of 2,000 from Vaskresenski on the 9♠8♣2♦ flop.
The turn came the K♦ and Tsiareshchanka checked again. Vaskresenski fired a second barrel of 12,000 and Tsiareshchanka quickly folded.

Sam Grafton opened to 2,500 and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet from the hijack to 9,000. Grafton called.
Grafton check-called 6,500 on the K♣10♣8♣ flop and the pair checked the 2♥ turn. The river was the 9♥. Grafton bet 15,000 and O'Dwyer eventually called.
Grafton tabled 8♥7♥ for a pair of eights, but O'Dwyer had that beat with K♦J♠ for a pair of kings.

Nikita Kuznetsov opened from the button and called a three-bet from Artsiom Lasouski in the small blind.
The flop came J♣10♥2♥ and Lasouski continued for 17,000. Kuznetsov called. With around 55,000 in the middle already, Lasouski bet again on the 5♣ turn for 51,000 and Kuznetsov called.
Lasouski used a time bank after the 8♦ was dealt on the river before betting 65,000. Kuznetsov used two time banks before moving all in, with Lasouski quickly folding.
