McGill Doesn't Want to Play His Aces
Level 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
All the other tables had already begun bagging up their chips while Mark McGill opened the last hand of the night to 100,000 in middle position. Jareth East called on the button, while Anthony Burguiere moved all in for 340,000 in the small blind.
"It's the last hand. Why not just go home?" McGill said to Burguiere as he reshoved. East quickly got out of the way.
Anthony Burguiere: A♦K♦
Mark McGill: A♥A♣
"I didn't even want to play," McGill said after showing down his aces. The 3♦J♣10♥ board gave Burguiere some hope with a straight draw, but he missed the 10♠ turn and 4♣ river and was sent to the rail.
