€5,300 EPT Main Event: Who Wants to Repeat the Song?
Where it all began, the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) celebrated its 20th anniversary last year in Barcelona. Over that time, the circuit has seen its success grow, attracting more and more players, from the very first EPT Barcelona with 229 entries to the fourth-largest Main Event in 2024, which drew 1,975 entries and generated a total prize pool of €9,578,750.
At Casino Barcelona, Rania Nasreddine made history by reaching back-to-back EPT Main Event final tables. But after a finale where everything seemed to go his way thanks to a six-outers and countless double-ups, the title ultimately went to Stephen Song. The American pro took home the first-place prize of €1,290,386 after defeating Andrew Hulme (2nd, €1,165,614) in heads-up play, adding yet another prestigious victory to his collection.
