103 Players in Contention for Day 4 of EPT Barcelona Main Event
With no former EPT champions left in the field, a new winner will be crowned at the conclusion of the 2025 edition of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona at Casino Barcelona.
From the 2,045 entries registered, which generating a prize pool of €9,918,250, only 103 players remain in contention for the trophy and the €1,436,000 top prize. Leading the way is Martin Nielsen, who surged to the top of the chip counts on Day 3 and bagged 1,683,000. He is followed by Colombia’s Julian Pineda Lozano (1,481,000), while Damien Gayer rounds out the top three with 1,455,000.

After spending the final levels of Day 3 under the spotlights of the feature table, former PokerStars Team Pro Ramon Colillas bagged 1,110,000 chips in his ongoing quest for an EPT title, just ahead of 2023 Estrellas runner-up Ferdinando Dalessio (1,000,018). PSPC finalist Thomas Eychenne (959,000) also returns with a strong stack, alongside Cesar Garcia (940,000), Timo Kamphues (848,000), and Leo Worthington-Leese (715,000).
Jerry Odeen (638,000) sits closer to the average stack, joined by two-time FPS champion Anthony Apicella (478,000), Fabio Peluso (473,000), and Marc Foggin (415,000).
Meanwhile, Peter Jorgne (373,000), last year’s Irish Open champion Tero Laurila (234,000), Julien Sitbon (198,000), and Adam Hendrix (174,000) are still in contention with shorter stacks, but all have already locked up a minimum payout of €17,250.
Remaining Payouts
Day 4 is set to resume at 12 p.m. local time with blinds of 6,000/12,000 and a 12,000 big blind ante. Five 90-minute levels should be played this Thursday, August 28 with a 20-minute break at the end of each level and a 65-minute dinner break at the end of Level 23.
