Maciel and Uguccioni Clash Twice
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Heitor Maciel opened to 40,000 from early position with 8♥8♣ and Michael Uguccioni called from the big blind with Q♦2♦.
The flop came Q♣3♦A♥ and Uguccioni check-called a bet of 30,000 from Maciel to see the J♣ fall on the turn. Again Uguccioni checked, and again Maciel barreled as he threw out 150,000. Uguccioni let go of his queen.
In the next hand, Maciel opened A♦10♥ from under the gun and Uguccioni called in the small blind with 7♠6♠. John Woods also called from the big blind holding Q♥10♣.
The trio saw a flop of 3♥6♣9♠, which when it checked to Maciel, he bet 70,000. Uguccioni called and Woods folded.
A 4♥ hit the turn and Uguccioni elected to lead out for 45,000, which got Maciel to fold.
