Rascar Fails to Bluff Brzezinski
Yohan Rascar raised to 160,000 from under the gun and Tomasz Brzezinski called from the button.
Rascar continued with a bet of 255,000 on the 7♠8♦2♣ flop, and Brzezinski stuck in the call.
A Q♠ dropped on the turn and Rascar fired a second barrel of 625,000. Once again, Brzezinski continued in the form of a call.
The dealer burned a card and delivered the 4♦ on the river. Rascar quickly gathered together a bet of 1,250,000, which got Brzezinski to go into the tank. After deliberating for a while, Brzezinski stuck in the call.
Rascar immediately said, "You win," and tabled a bluff with K♠10♦. Brzezinski showed 9♥9♦ for a pair of nines, and went to dinner break with almost seven million in chips. Rascar, on the other hand, moved to the bottom of the chip counts with just over eleven big blinds.
