Lisowski Makes Short Work of Round 3
We have our first finalist in the Spin & Go Live Championship and it's Krystian Lisowski.
He notched up four wins from five against AndyPSX and Cendoya Ruiz, with Ruiz the only other player to notch a win. He dispatched both Spaniards in just over an hour to secure his place in the final.
Although he doesn’t consider himself a full-time grinder, Lisowski admits he put in more volume than usual to secure a spot in the Spin & Go Championship, and secured his place during the last leaderboard.
“It was really cool playing on stage for the first time,” he said of yesterday’s live action. “I hope PokerStars continues to run tournaments like this. It’s a great experience even if it takes a lot of work to organize.”
The excitement of making the final nine meant a restless night for Lisowski, who only managed a few hours of sleep, though he still felt energized heading into the decisive day. Away from poker, he invests in real estate, managing several flats.
As for his immediate plan before the final? Lisowski kept it simple: “Go to sleep.”
