Game 6: Kleist Wins Four-In-A-Row and the Title!
There was another early confrontation between Guilherme Kleist and Krystian Lisowski, with Kleist's ace-king besting the ace-five of Lisowski.
It was now up to Joao Nascimento to halt Kleist's winning streak and extend the contest. Down 2:1 in chips, Nascimento could only watch as Kleist turned the screw.
Nascimento could not escape, and eventually got it in with J♣8♦, needing to crack the 2♥2♦ of Kleist to stay alive and deny his fellow Brazilian the win. And he did so, with the A♠A♥J♦9♣5♥ pairing Nascimento to all but level the stacks.
The money went in again moments later with Kleist 10♣9♣ against the A♦K♣ of Nascimento. Nascimento held the chip lead by a slender margin, but this time it was Kleist who flopped best on the J♠10♦3♥5♣9♠ to move within touching distance of the title.
The final hand saw Nascimento at risk but ahead:
Joao Nascimento: A♦Q♦
Guilherme Kleist: K♠8♣
The board came Q♠6♣2♦K♥5♦ with the turn giving Kleist the lead, and after the river bricked he emerged triumphant as the winner of the PokerStars Spin & Go Championship Live.
