Theologis Double Up with a Bigger Full House
Level 12
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Action folded to Juan Pardo in the small blind, who opened with a raise to 42,000. Alexandros Theologis called from the big blind.
The flop came 10♥8♣9♠, and Pardo checked to Theologis, who bet 25,000. Pardo called, keeping the pot growing. Both players then checked the 10♦ turn.
On the 8♦ river, Pardo led out with a bet of 210,000. Theologis took a moment before shoving nearly his entire stack of 557,000 into the middle. Pardo took his time, burning two time bank cards, before finally making the call.
Theologis showed 10♣9♣ for a full house tens over nines whilst Pardo had 10♠7♣ also a full house tens over eights. Theologis got a full double.
