Tom-Aksel Bedell Eliminated in 5th Place (€200,550)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tom-Aksel Bedell
Tom-Aksel Bedell

On the button, Tom-Aksel Bedell tossed in a few time banks before he announced his all-in for 1,050,000. Mykhailo Ostash asked for a count in the big blind, making the call when he heard the correct amount.

Tom-Aksel Bedell: 22 All in
Mykhailo Ostash: 33

Bedell's ducks were in dire shape against the threes of Ostash. The 4K3 flop gave Ostash a set and put Bedell in an even worse predicament, as he needed runner-runner to remain in contention.

Instead, the Norwegian was drawing dead after the Q hit the turn. Bedell stood up and shook hands with his former opponents while the K river completed the board, then exited the stage to pick up his payout.

Boika Doesn't Buy Over-Bet

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Aliaksei Boika
Aliaksei Boika

Aliaksei Boika raised his small blind to 300,000 with. Adria Calonge called in the big blind, after which the pair checked through the 6710 flop.

Boika continued knuckling the table on the Q turn, and Calogne followed suit again. After the 6 river completed the board, Boika checked for a third time.

Calonge veered from the previous course and slid in a massive bet of 850,000. Boika gave his hand some serious thought, burning through four time banks before he finally decided to call.

Calonge had been caught bluffing with J9. Boika triumphantly tabled AJ for a hero-call with ace-high, winning the pot to overtake Calonge in the counts.

Bedell Wins With King-High; Brzezinski Folds to Pressure

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 200,000 on the button. Mykhailo Ostash called in the big blind and checked the 596 flop over to the initial raiser. Bedell checked back, prompting Ostash to take a stab of 175,000 on the 10 turn.

Bedell wanted to see a river and flicked in a call, after which the duo checked to showdown when the A completed the board. Ostash showed Q8 for queen-high, but Bedell's KJ was slightly better as he was shipped the pot.

The next hand, Tomasz Brzezinski upped the price of play to 200,000 on the button with 66. Ostash three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind with A6, getting Brzezinski to muck his pocket pair.

Mykhailo Ostash raised 75 to 200,000 in the cutoff. Adria Calonge came along in the small blind with KJ, and Tom-Aksel Bedell defended his big blind with K9.

Ostash continued with a bet of 175,000 on the 4410 flop, receiving two check-folds and increasing his lead further.

On the next deal, Ostash found AA under the gun, raising it to 200,000. Tomasz Brzezinski looked at Q6 in the big blind, but wisely decided not to tangle with the chip leader and let his hand go.

Mykhailo Ostash raised to 300,000 from the small blind, and Aliaksei Boika called from the big blind.

Ostash continued for 225,000 on the 1084 flop, and was called.

The 2 came in on the turn, and Ostash sized up to 800,000. Boika called to swell the pot to 2,730,000.

The K completed the board, and a third barrel came from Ostash, this time for 2,100,000. Boika had 2,990,000 behind and immediately sent a time bank into the middle of the table. Several more time banks followed as the defending champion considered his options.

Despite the 9 only being scanned for Boika, it appeared he had the best hand due to his tank. Ostash was bluffing with Q9 and wiped the sweat off of his eyebrow when Boika folded.

Tom and Tom Play a Pot

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell announced a raise to 160,000 on the button after seeing his A8. Tomasz Brzezinski flat-called QJ in the small blind, after which both players checked when the flop fell 555.

Brzezinski led out for 250,000 on the 10 turn. Bedell spent one of his plentiful time banks before he decided to call.

The dealer then completed the board with the J. Having rivered a full house, Brzezinski made a near pot-sized bet of 800,000. Bedell wisely let go of his ace-high, seeing Brzezinski drag his first pot since Day 6 started.
