Brzezinski Within Reach of Trophy
Level 31
: Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
In a limped pot to the K♦8♣2♠ flop, Tomasz Brzezinski 3♣2♣ check-called a bet of 150,000 from Mykhailo Ostash K♣2♥. Ostash's two pair sealed the checkmark on the J♥ turn, and he took in the pot after Brzezinski folded to a bet.
On the next deal, Brzezinski raised with 9♥4♦ and Ostash snap-folded 8♠2♥ in the big blind.
Ostash K♣8♥ limped in from the button, and Brzezinski A♣9♠ surprisingly checked his option. Both players paired up on the K♦9♥3♦ flop, and Brzezinski check-called for 150,000.
Brzezinski checked on the 9♣ turn after making trips, and it checked through to the 7♠ river. Brzezinski checked for a third time, and Ostash made it 600,000. Brzezinski raised to 1,900,000, and Ostash ditched his hand.
