Petroni on Piles as Talvard Bluffs to Early Exit

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Antoine Talvard
Antoine Talvard

Big blind Fabrizio Petroni and Antoine Talvard in middle position had created a pot of 30,000 when they reached the 823510 river.

Petroni checked to Talvard, who moved all in for 18,700. After a couple of moments, Petroni flicked in a calling chip with the covering stack.

Talvard could only show ace-high with his AK, and he took his exit once Petroni tabled QQ for the winning pair of queens.

Peeks Concedes River to Mullin

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Four players saw a 223 flop. Emmett Mullin checked from the big blind, and Ewen Trevidy followed suit in early position. Roeland Peeks then bet 600 in the cutoff, which Tayfun Rodoplu called on the button.

Mullin then raised to 1,800, which folded out Trevidy. Peeks called before Rodoplu mucked his cards as well.

The two remaining contenders for the pot went to the 7 turn, where Mullin sized up to 2,700. Peeks check-called, after which the Q river completed the board.

Peeks checked for a second time, seeing Mullin make it 8,500 to go. After a few minutes in the tank, Peeks let his cards go, surrendering the pot to Mullin.
