Luigi D'Alterio raised from the cutoff, Steven van Zadelhoff in the small blind three-bet all-in for 54,000 and D'Alterio eventually made the call.
Steven van Zadelhoff: A♠A♥
Luigi D'Alterio: Q♦10♦
Van Zadelhoff was on his way to double on 5♦9♠3♣, but D'Alterio hit a runner-runner flush thanks to the 3♦2♦ runout to send Van Zadelhoff to the rail.

Just shy from the hand-for-hand-play, Attila Ivacson opened from early position to 7,000 and picked up a call from Domenico De Francesco. Action folded to Evaldas Aniulis on the button, who three-bet to 25,000. Ivacson then shoved for about 90,000. After De Francesco folded, Aniulis called, sending the cards on their backs.
Attila Ivacson: Q♦Q♠
Evaldas Aniulis: A♣A♦
The board ran out 6♠5♥4♥4♠K♣, leaving Ivacson with nothing to improve and sending him to the rail.

Roman Stoica opened to 8,000 from the cutoff before Vidar Oie made it 32,000 from the big blind. Stoica four-bet to 64,000 and snap-called when Oie jammed for around 200,000.
Vidar Oie: K♠K♣
Roman Stoica: A♣A♠
It was a disaster for Oie as his suits were covered by Stoica's aces, meaning the J♠7♠3♠ flop was of no help. The 2♦ turn and 10♥ river gave Stoica the checkmark and he returned to the top of the counts.

With the tournament on the stone bubble and only a few minutes of the current level remaining, the decision has been made to send the remaining players on an early dinner break.
Upon their return, the players will resume playing hand-for-hand until the bubble bursts.
Play is expected to resume at 8:19 p.m. local time.
The European Poker Tour’s last visit to Malta saw Aliaksei Boika claim the 2016 EPT Malta Main Event title.
After six long days of poker, the then 28-year old Belarusian poker pro bested long-time tournament chip leader Mats Karlsson heads-up, making one of the best calls in EPT history to win it all.
The final day started with just six of the 468 runners remaining. Boika started the final table as the short stack, but quickly moved up the pack and took home the top prize of €355,700 from the €2,269,800 prize pool.

The return of the PokerStars Big Game on Tour could have been rebranded as The Alan Keating Show.
Keating won the first six hands in the $200/$400 no-limit hold'em cash game, pushing around the table from start to finish. But he wasn't the only winner at the table.
Luke Moy, the second Loose Cannon of Season 2, had never bought into a poker game for more than $400, but he didn't play scared. He was staked $100,000 to face experienced high rollers, including Keating, Jason Koon, Lex Veldhuis, poker vlogger Alexander "Wolfgang" Seibt, and comedian Morgan Jay.

With 136 players left for 135 places in the money, the proper bubble is about to start.
Heads-up in a three-bet pot on 9♦7♣K♦, Grzegorz Kozieja in the hijack bet 10,000, and Paolo Boi to his right check-called.
Both players checked the J♠ turn, leading to the A♥ river that Boi checked. Kozieja bet 40,000, but Boi check-raised to 100,000.
"I lose to one hand," Kozieja said before calling off his last 86,000.
Grzegorz Kozieja: A♦A♠
Paolo Boi: K♣Q♠
Kozieja madę a good call with a set of aces and secured a double-up on the bubble.
