Limped Pot Sees Johnson Double

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mykhailo Ostash kicked the action off by limping in from middle position. Keith Johnson limped on the button before the small blind completed, and the big blind checked.

Ostash bet one big blind, 8,000, on the JQJ flop, which Johnson called before the players in the blinds folded.

Action checked through on the 4 turn, but when the dealer completed the board with the A, Ostash bet enough to cover Johnson.

Johnson wasted no time in calling, turning over K10 for a rivered straight. Ostash showed KQ as a formality.

The dealer counted out Johnson's stack, which was 120,000, and sent the double-up in his direction.

Pardo Puts Semenov to the Test; Big Double for Calonge

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Adria Calonge
Adria Calonge

Evaldas Aniulis opened to 17,000 from under the gun. Juan Pardo and Dmitrii Semenov called from the cutoff and big blind.

Aniulis bet 9,000 on the A44 flop and was called by both players. It checked to Pardo on the 5 turn, and he bet 24,000. Semenov called to leave himself with 45,000 behind. The 3 completed the board, and Semenov folded after Pardo put in a tower of T-5,000 chips.

As that hand played out, Adria Calonge scored a huge double through Jiaming Zhao.

In a 1,250,000 pot, the board read KJ23J. Zhoa had K6 for the flush, but it was no good as Calonge had 2x2x for deuces full of jacks.

Rubiralta Gets Back on Fan Before Table Breaks

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After Longmao Fan opened from the cutoff, Gerard Rubiralta three-bet him for the second time in a short span. Fan again called, and did so too for Rubiralta's bets of 25,000 on the QK4 flop and 65,000 on the 2 turn.

The two players then both checked the 10 river. Fan tabled J10 for a pair of tens, but Rubiralta was awarded the pot with K9 for a pair of kings.

As Rubiralta was pushed the pot, the floor came over to announce the breaking of the table, as several people had been eliminated in the meantime.

Rodrigues and Charlton Bust

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alessandro Barone opened to 17,000 from under the gun before Joao Tomas made it 40,000 from middle position. Michael Rodrigues put in his last 34,000 from the button and then Barone called.

On the Q107 flop, Barone check-raised to 77,000 over a bet of 30,000. Tomas folded.

Michael Rodrigues: 66All in
Alessandro Barone: 77

Rodrigues needed running sixes, but was out after the 2 turn and 3 river.

On another table, the short-stacked Daniel Charlton was all-in with Ax3x, and up against Nikolai Mamut's AxKx. The board provided no help to Charlton, and he was gone.
