Roman Stoica Eliminated in 16th Place (€33,850)

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Roman Stoica
Roman Stoica

Ben Heath opened to 55,000 from the button, Roman Stoica in the big blind three-bet to 200,000 and Heath made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of 94J and after Stoica checked, Heath bet 110,000. Stoica called, then both players checked the A turn.

Stoica led out for 215,000 on the A river, but Heath raised to 800,000. With 280,000 behind, Stoica went into the tank and eventually called with AQ for trips. Heath, however, had K10 for the nut flush and sent Stoica to the rail on the last hand of the day.

Tom Vogelsang Eliminated in 17th Place (€33,850)

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 60,000 in the small blind. Tom Vogelsang responded with a three-bet to 240,000 in the big blind, which Bedell reraised to 560,000.

Vogelsang did not deem that amount enough, as he moved all in for a massive 1,410,000. Bedell asked for a count, then called without using any of his many time banks, saying, "I like my hearts."

Tom Vogelsang: KK All in
Tom-Aksel Bedell: KQ

Vogelsang was in great shape to win the gigantic pot, but the deck crushed his dreams when AJ5 appeared on the flop, giving Bedell a flush.

Vogelsang needed runner-runner outs to remain in contention; instead, he was drawing dead after the 8 turn.

Vogelsang said his goodbyes as the meaningless A river completed the board, seeing Bedell drag the massive pot to once again establish a big lead over the rest of the field.

Stoica hit two pair on 4AJK3 to double up and leave Chevalier with only 5,000.

Chevalier wanted to be eliminated to ensure he would make his flight later tonight. He was almost on his way to the airport on 64KQ, but he hit the 4 river to double and get back to 45,000.

After an open under the gun by Alessandro Barone, Chevalier jammed again. Longmao Fan defended from the big blind but folded to Barone's continuation bet on 898.

Pierre Chevalier: 109 All in
Alessandro Barone: J10

The 8 turn followed by the 3 river gave Chevalier a full house, and he doubled again.

Pierre Chevalier: 87 All in

Toni Kaukua upped the price to 40,000 in the hijack. It folded to the short-stacked Nicola Spallanzani in the big blind, who obliged with a call. Both players checked the K65 flop, after which the A appeared on the turn.

Spallanzani checked again before he moved in his 215,000 remaining chips after Kaukua bet 50,000. Kaukua instantly called, and the cards were revealed.

Spallanzani was in the lead with his flopped two pair, but the K river counterfeited him. Kaukua's aces and kings won the pot, knocking Spallanzani out in 22nd place.
