Chilaud Wheels in Some of Mateos' Chips

Maxime Chilaud made a minimum raise to 24,000 in the cutoff with A♠3♣. Adrian Mateos defended his big blind with 10♦8♥, and check-called Chilaud's bet of 27,000 on the 2♦8♠3♥ flop.

The 5♣ turn saw Mateos lead out for 25,000. Chilaud called to the 4♣ river, which Mateos checked. Chilaud fired a bet of 85,000, causing Mateos to spend two of his time banks.

Eventually, Mateos correctly laid down his top pair as Chilaud was sent the pot.

Senda spent one time bank before she announced her all-in for 248,000, and got snap-called by Heath.

Picking up the action on a 10♣3♠Q♣A♠ turn, Pierre Chevalier checked from the big blind to Roman Stoica in the cutoff, who fired a pot-sized bet of 52,000.

Chevalier quickly called, but took his time when the 2♣ arrived on the river. After one time extension, Chevalier led out for 40,000. Stoica quickly moved in over the top, but his opponent snapped him off for 240,000.

Stoica showed K♠J♣ for a straight, but Chevalier had rivered a flush with K♣4♣ and, as a result, doubled up.

Juan Pardo opened from under the gun, and Gerard Rubiralta three-bet to 80,000 in middle position. Action folded to Paolo Boi in the big blind, who fired back with a four-bet to 187,000. Pardo took his time before making it 325,000, forcing a quick fold from Rubiralta and a near-instant all-in from Boi. Pardo snap-called, and the cards were revealed.

Boi found top set on the 3♣7♥K♥ flop, while Pardo, tossing his queen of hearts closer to the board, said only a flush could save him now. The 2♥ turn and 8♥ river did exactly that, completing the miracle runner-runner flush to send Boi out of the tournament in brutal fashion.

Gerard Rubiralta opened to 24,000 in the cutoff. Longmao Fan defended his big blind, after which the dealer fanned the Q♠6♠9♣ flop. Rubiralta continued for 22,000, which Fan check-raised to 58,000.

Rubiralta called to the 3♠ turn, where Fan continued firing. This time, he slid 77,000 in the middle. Rubiralta stuck around with another call, leading to the 10♥ appearing on the river.

Fan slowed down and checked. Rubiralta announced a bet of 204,000, sending Fan into the tank. After spending two time banks, Fan folded his cards, surrendering the sizable pot to Rubiralta.
