Gill Makes the Nuts to Bust Mihai
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 7♦6♠J♥, Harpreet Gill picked up a pile of chips but accidentally dropped 2,000 in the middle. His bet was made to stand as Nicolae Mihai called in early position.
Mihai then moved all in for 6,000 on the 3♥ turn and Gill called. Mihai showed 8♠8♥ for a pair of eights, while Gill had A♥7♥ for a pair and flush draw.
The Q♥ fell on the river and Gill made his flush to send Mihai to the rail.
"I would've gone all in on the flop, anyway. He had no chips," Gill said after the hand.
