Six players saw a flop of 2♥K♥8♦ where Josef Schusteritsch bet 300 from under the gun. Jean Mikhael called in the hijack, Mitch Garshofky called in the cutoff, while Rene Baranek and Francois Billard also came along in the blinds.
Action checked to Mikhael on the 2♦ turn and he bet 1,400. Only Baranek and Billard called this time.
The river was the 10♦ and Billard took his turn to open the betting, firing out 5,200. Both Mikhael and Baranek quickly folded and Billard took the pot.
Didier Barthe raised to 300 from middle position and got a call before Alper Gocer three-bet to 1,000 from the button. Only Barthe called and action went to the flop, which came 6♣3♣Q♥. Barthe checked, Gocer bet 1,600 and Barthe called.
The turn was the 2♠ and Barthe checked again. Gocer made it 1,600 to go and Barthe called. On the K♥ river, Barthe checked for a third time and Gocer sized up to 4,000. Barthe made what would turn out to be a pretty heroic call.
Gocer showed A♥9♥ for a complete bluff. Barthe picked off the bluff with 9♦9♠, which was enough to win him the pot.
In a blind versus blind battle, Artyom Smbatyan bet 2,500 on a board of 8♦Q♥10♠10♥ and Sean Jazayeri called.
The river was the 4♠ and Smbatyan bet another 12,000. Jazayeri snap-called.
"Just a queen," Smbatyan said, but Jazayeri showed A♠10♦ for trips to win the pot.
Oleksandr Kasian open-raised to 300 from middle position and picked up a call before Harvey Jackson three-bet to 900 from the button. Both of his opponents called.
The flop came 3♣3♦3♠ and Kasian led out for 2,000, which only Jackson called. Both players then checked it back on the 7♣ turn.
The river was the 3♥ to put quad threes on board, a runout that prompted Kasian to check. Jackson checked behind to showdown. Kasian had 8♣8♥ for a counterfeited full house. Jackson showed K♠10♠ for quad threes with king-high to win the pot.
With 3,200 in the pot on a flop of A♠K♥2♣, Boris Berthomet bet 2,000 from the small blind and Stephen Song called on the button.
Berthomet bet another 5,000 on the 10♠ turn and Song again called. The river was the 10♣ and Berthomet bet 1,700.
Song this time came back with an all-in shove. Berthomet, with around 20,000 remaining, then went deep into the tank.
"I want to call. Can you bluff here?" he wondered as several minutes came off the clock.
"Sorry guys," he eventually said and another tablemate called the clock. Berthomet allowed his 30-second timer to run out before his hand was declared dead. Song returned his cards face down as he scooped the pot.
Victor der Megreditchian open-raised to 300 from middle position, Adrian Mack called in late position, then Andreas Bolling three-bet to 800 from the button. Der Megreditchian and Mack both called.
The flop came 6♥6♣6♦ and action checked to Bolling, who made it 1,200 to go. Der Megreditchian folded and Mack made the call.
The turn was the 5♠ and Mack checked again. Bolling bet 2,200 and Mack called. On the 7♦ river, Mack led out for 5,200, a move that left Bolling pondering. Bolling let it go and Mack scooped in the pot.
Florian Duta raised to 300 in the hijack, Ori Elul three-bet to 1,200 on the button, and Duta called.
The flop came Q♦6♥4♣ and Elul continued for 300. Duta called to see the 5♣ turn, where Elul bet another 1,000. Duta quickly folded this time.
Elul showed Q♠Q♣ for top set as he took in the pot.
Stuart Taylor open-raised to 300 from late position, Attila Koncz called on the button and Noah Boeken called in the big blind.
The flop came 9♠Q♦J♠ and action checked to Taylor, who made a continuation-bet of 600. Both of his opponents called and then all three players checked it back on the 2♣ turn.
The river came the 2♦ and Boeken led out for 1,000. Taylor called and Koncz folded. Boeken had Q♣6♣ for two pair, queens and the deuces on board, but Taylor had A♦Q♠ for the same two pair with a higher kicker to win the pot.
