"Lucky River" For Lin

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

"Beautiful open, under the gun plus one," Ren Lin said as he raised to 800 in early position. Sofien Djaballah in the cutoff, button Virgile Turchi, and big blind Kestutis Jungevicius all called.

"Ay, ay, ay, no respect," Lin said heading to the K210 flop. All four players checked to the K turn, where Lin bet 2,500. Djaballah and Jungevicius both called, while Turchi got out of the way.

"Drawing dead, my friend," Lin said as the A fell on the river. He then bet 8,500 and Djaballah folded, while Jungevicius called.

"Lucky river," Lin said, turning over 76 for a flush. Jungevicius flashed AQ before mucking.

Cai Makes Comeback After Longdin Missclicks

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Haoran Cai
Haoran Cai

Following an under-the-gun raise to 800, Haoran Cai moved all in from the next seat across for 10,700. Ian Longdin said "call" in the small blind and didn't see the shove, so was forced to put his chips in the middle.

Haoran Cai: 1010 All in
Ian Longdin: 94

Longdin explained the situation to his confused opponent as the board ran out J8367. Cai held with his pocket tens to double up his stack.

The following hand, Cai raised to 1,000 from under the gun and Tiago Aguiar Ramos called on the button. The flop came 5J4 and Cai continued for 1,300, which Ramos called. Both players then checked it back on the 5 turn.

On the 9 river, Cai checked and Ramos bet 2,200. Cai check-raised to 12,100 and Ramos let his hand go to give Cai the pot. It was a great comeback for Cai, who was back close to starting stack.

La Padula Doubles Through Ticherfatine

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Following a middle position open-raise to 1,000, Giovanni La Padula three-bet to 3,000 from the next seat across. Cecile Ticherfatine then four-bet to 8,500 from the small blind and only La Padula made the call.

The flop came 997 and Ticherfatine gently placed out a bet of 6,000, which La Padula called. The turn came the J and Ticherfatine bet 11,000, which was most of her opponent's stack. La Padula put the rest in the middle for a total of 14,800 and Ticherfatine called.

"You were supposed to fold," said Ticherfatine as she flipped over AK. La Padula flipped over 66 and had the best of it.

The river was a blank and La Padula won the pot to double his stack.

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

With around 20,000 in the pot, three players went to the turn with the board showing 944K. Giovanni La Padula then moved all in from the button, having his other two opponents covered.

Poseidon Ho called for his last 8,600 in the big blind, while Atanas Malinov in the big blind took a minute before folding.

La Padula showed K7 for two pair, but Ho turned over KK for a full house. The river was the J and Ho doubled up.

Lin Shows Karam His Bluff

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Hala Karam open-raised to 1,000 from middle position, Ren Lin three-bet to 3,200 from the hijack and Karam called.

The flop came 3KJ and Karam checked. Lin bet 1,000 and Karam quickly called.

"Oh, snap call!" said Lin.

The turn was the 6 and Karam checked. Lin bet 8,000 and said "not bluff this time."

Karam asked if Lin would show one. Lin agreed and Karam folded her hand. Lin was about to muck, but Karam jumped out of her seat.

"You promised!" said Karam, who prompted Lin to show and revealed her own hand in exchange. Karam had AxQx and Lin showed 74 for a bluff.

"I knew it!" said Karam.

"Ace-queen, you cannot call," replied Lin as he dragged in the pot.
