Nemeth Picks Wrong Moment to Bluff-Catch

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Action was on the turn on a board of 6223 with around 170,000 in the middle. Sebastian Malec made it 100,000 to go and Andras Nemeth made the call.

The river came the 2 and Malec announced that he was "all in" with the covering stack. Nemeth went deep into the tank, using three time bank cards to make his decision before opting to call.

Malec showed QQ for a full house, deuces full of queens. Nemeth was left stunned and the dealer prompted him to turn over his cards.

Nemeth showed A10. He'd missed his flush draw and was using his hand as a bluff-catcher. Unfortunately for Nemeth, Malec was far from bluffing. Malec scooped in the pot and Nemeth was eliminated.
