Coppola Makes a Big Fold Against Capriles' Rockets; Angelov Can't Shake Golinski

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Mariusz Golinski raised to 210,000 under the gun before Miguel Capriles looked down at AA in early position and three-bet to 700,000. The table folded to Enrico Coppola in the big blind who picked up JJ and gave it some thought but ultimately folded, while Golinski quickly tossed away his hand.

Golinski then raised to 210,000 on the button and Boris Angelov called in the big blind.

Golinski continued for 130,000 on the 10106 flop and Angelov raised to 390,000. Golinski called and they checked down the A turn and 4 river.

Angelov showed 22, but Golinski had A6 for aces-up to win the pot.

Miguel Capriles
Miguel Capriles

Boris Angelov raised to 250,000 under the gun and Jamil Wakil called in the cutoff, while Miguel Capriles also came along from the big blind.

The flop came 1043 and Angelov bet 230,000. Wakil folded, but Capriles moved all in for 2,035,000 and Angelov snap-called.

Miguel Capriles: K2 All in
Boris Angelov: A10

Capriles needed to hit a king or complete a flush draw to overcome Angelov's top pair, but he missed the 4 turn and 7 river and was eliminated in seventh place to bring Day 5 to a close.

With that bustout, Angelov takes the chip lead into the final day of the EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event for the second consecutive year.
