Peters, Barulia Take Their Time
Gerard Rubiralta and Tobias Peters went to the turn on a board of 2♣5♣7♠10♥ with around 150,000 in the pot when Rubiralta moved all in from the small blind. Peters went into the tank, taking several minutes before the clock was called. He eventually committed his last 115,000 from the hijack.
Rubiralta showed A♣4♣ for straight and flush draws, while Peters had 8♦7♦ for a pair of sevens. The 2♦ river was safe for Peters, and he doubled up.
At another table, Francesco Pagliazzo had opened to 16,000 in the hijack as action went on Naum Barulia in the big blind. He also took a few minutes to act, and the clock was called. The tournament official gave him only five seconds to act, and he three-bet to 44,000. Pagliazzo then moved all in, and the clock was again called on Barulia before he stuck in his last 10,000.
