Horsburgh Gets to Keep His One Time
Level 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Alan Horsburgh moved all in for 315,000 from middle position and Marcin Lesniewski called in the hijack.
Alan Horsburgh: Q♣Q♦
Marcin Lesniewski: A♥J♣
"I'm going to use my one time," Horsburgh said heading to the flop, which came J♦3♣5♠ to give Lesniewski top pair. Horsburgh, though, remained in the lead on the 6♦ turn, while the river came the K♦ to earn him a double up.
"Do you get to use your one time if you're ahead?" a tablemate asked him.
"Anytime you're all in, you're allowed to use it," Horsburgh replied.
"You should be punished for using your one time when ahead. Horrific bad beat," another tablemate added.
"Okay, I take it back. I still have it," Horsburgh said.
