Cicioglu Clings On

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ali Cicioglu was all-in for his remaining 1,200 from middle position and Richard Trigg three-bet from the hijack. Action folded around, leaving the players to flip their cards.

Ali Cicioglu: K7All in
Richard Trigg: JJ

Cicioglu needed to improve to stay alive but the 376 flop wasn't enough to secure him the double.

A 5 brought in the straight draw giving him more outs, and he locked up the double on the K river.

Cicioglu moved all in again in the next hand, this time going up against his neighbour Ivan Angelov.

Ali Cicioglu: A3All in
Ivan Angelov: QQ

It wasn't looking good for Cicioglu, but he saw an ace in the window on the 34A flop. He held and secured another double after being dealt the 9 turn and K river.

He then collected more after jamming for a third time in a row, spinning up his stack to 8,200.

After the hand a player at the table remarked "One more (double up), and you are good."
